Wright's Restaurant

Wright's Restaurant began on this site which once housed a poultry processing plant, and later after World War II, a button factory. Although not visible, part of the original structure still remains as part of our restaurant.

The food service business began here on July 4, 1971 as a service to the seafood processing plant located next door. At that time we had a seating capacity of six. As business increased among locals, a small dining room containing six tables was constructed. From that point on, our restaurant has expanded room by room. Today, we are proud to offer three waterfront dining rooms, as well as our newest addition, The Crab Galley.

The Crab Galley features "all you can eat" dinners in a casual atmosphere. We offer steamed crabs, Alaskan crab legs, steamed shrimp, bbq ribs and fried chicken. The Crab Galley also overlooks scenic Watts Bay.

As you enjoy our fresh local seafood, you may view any of the following intriguing sites. Local watermen at work in Watts Bay, the beautiful beacon from Assateague Lighthouse, the lovely island of Chincoteague or perhaps a rocket launching from Wallops Island. For that special evening enjoy a delicious meal amid the romantic setting of candlelight, music and the moon rising over Watts Bay.

We're here to serve your every need, whether it be a dining experience for two or a private party of one hundred or more.
